2		eggs
1/2	cup	butter
1	cup	brown sugar
2	tablespoons	orange juice
2	tablespoons	bourbon
1 1/2	teaspoons	soda in 1 tbsp. milk
1 1/2	cups	flour
1	pound	chopped dates
1	pound	candied cherries
1	pound	candied pineapple
4	cups	pecans - coarsely chopped

Cream together eggs, butter and brown sugar. Stir in orange juice, bourbon and milk-soda mixture. Add flour, pecans and candied fruits. (Lightly toss candied fruits with a small amount of flour until fruits separate easily.) Mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Yields: 6 dozen.
