1 cup chopped dates
1/2 stick unsalted butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar - (dark)
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans
