1 tablespoon butter

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose white flour
2 pounds flavorful tart apples - peeled and cored
and cut into chunks
about 6 cups

TO MAKE CRUST: 1. Lightly oil a 9-inch pie
